Yesterday we had a visit from 18 year old professional boxer James Power. The Dripsey native gave a hugely inspirational talk to the boys on how he balanced the life of a professional boxer with doing his leaving cert last year, giving them tips on how to achieve their dreams and being the best they can be.

He is deferring his course in UCC and moving to Los Angelus to further his sporting career. We will be looking out for him with great interest.
