Our senior soccer team produced some terrific performances to reach the Cork finals in Turner’s Cross however they came up against some very strong opposition today. We lost our first match 3-2 to Riverstown (the eventual winners) in a closely fought game. We also lost a very tight game to Togher Boys 4-3. Our final game was against Beaumont Boys who were also very strong and beat us 6-1. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing at the home of Cork City FC and with three 5th class boys on this year’s team, we will be back next year!
The 3rd and 4th class team will play in their tournament after Easter.
